Homeowners: When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, and job description. This information is necessary to match you with local service businesses.

Service Businesses: When you register, we collect your company name, contact details, service categories, coverage areas, and payment information (processed securely via Stripe).

All Users: We collect technical data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and cookies to improve our service and for analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To match homeowner quote requests with relevant local businesses
  • To send email and SMS notifications about new leads or quote responses
  • To process payments via Stripe for lead purchases and subscriptions
  • To display business profiles and reviews on our platform
  • To improve our platform and personalise your experience
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases: Contract (to provide our service), Legitimate Interests (to improve our platform and prevent fraud), and Consent (for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time).

5. Data Sharing

We share homeowner contact details only with businesses that have accepted a lead. We use trusted third-party processors including Stripe (payments), and email/SMS notification providers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Quote request data is retained for 12 months. Business account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 2 years. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
